Description
Creality CFS (Creality Filament System) is a modular filament management system designed for Creality K2 series 3D printers. One CFS unit supports four filament spools, and connecting up to four units to a single printer allows printing with up to 16 materials or colors simultaneously—without manual intervention.
Automatic Filament Identification and Management
A built-in RFID reader automatically recognizes filament type, color, and properties immediately after loading a spool. For filaments without an RFID chip, the data can be entered manually. The system maps filaments and synchronizes parameters with the Creality Print software, ensuring correct multicolor print setup.
Continuous Operation
When a spool runs low on filament, the CFS automatically switches to the next spool, minimizing waste and eliminating downtime. Advanced sensors detect abnormalities during printing and pause the device, alerting the user. A spring-loaded batten bar mechanism prevents filament from falling out of the slot during multi-color printing.
Filament Protection
The CFS's airtight enclosure with built-in moisture absorbers protects the filament from absorbing water from the air—important when working with nylon, PVA, and carbon composites. A built-in display constantly displays the temperature and humidity level inside the hopper, and the system alerts you when parameters exceed acceptable ranges.
Compatibility and Materials
The CFS supports 1.75 mm diameter filaments, including water-soluble support materials such as PVA. It is compatible with Creality Hyper Series cardboard spools without additional adapters.
