Description
Blocks designed for the development of logical thinking and learning mathematics.
They facilitate the activation of children's imagination, enable the visualization of abstract concepts and the observation of relationships between them. Thanks to this, the knowledge acquired by children is more durable and gives the ability to apply it in practice. The blocks are used in the implementation of such issues as: isolating and comparing quantitative features, familiarizing with the names of simple geometric figures, classifying objects according to qualitative features, isolating sets whose elements meet specific conditions, determining the conditions met by the elements of a given set, dividing a set into subsets, determining the common part, sum and difference of sets, the concept of an empty set, shaping the concept of relations and functions, with particular emphasis on the equivalence of sets (according to: Maria Radwiłowicz, Zofia Morawska "Metodyka szkole Podstawego" WSiP, 1986).
With the help of the set, the child learns to recognize the shapes of geometric figures and colors. Figures can be sorted and classified by color, size, and type of figure. The set includes a booklet with examples of tasks and answers. Working with the set develops imagination, creativity, and logical thinking.
• 60 pieces of geometric figures
• 2 sorting wheels
• 1 book with tasks
• dimensions of figures from 2 to 4 cm
• from 4 years
