Description
The set is designed for exercises with children in order to sharpen the sense of hearing and to make sighted people aware of how difficult it is to function without sight. It is also dedicated as an aid to work with visually impaired, blind and hearing impaired people. It contains a board with 3 darts, a basket, 5 balls, 5 bags of peas and 2 mushrooms for attaching to a board or basket. There are rattles in the mushrooms, darts and balls. To start the exercise, attach two felt mushrooms to the board. By throwing darts at the board with closed eyes, we are able to determine the direction and distance to the target and recognize the space and direction of the throw. Balls have a similar function. They contain rattles with different sounds, from loud to very quiet. By throwing balls in different directions, we can determine the size of the room and the distance of objects that are in it. Another exercise is throwing into a basket, to which we attach two mushrooms. When the ball hits the basket, the sound of the rattles indicates a successful shot. For this exercise, we use bean bags. • target diameter 48.5 cm • basket diameter 45 cm • shuttle diameter 6 cm • ball diameter 12 cm • bag dimensions 10 x 10 cm
• from 3 years
