Description
The Universum collection is a series of modular seats with geometric shapes and an elegant appearance, designed with modern educational facilities in mind. It consists of elements that can be freely combined, creating layouts tailored to various spatial needs and room sizes. Simple forms combined with a muted color palette promote focus and create a calm, welcoming environment for meetings, learning, and relaxation. The collection offers modern solutions that meet users’ needs, enabling the creation of comfortable spaces for work and leisure.
There are three versions of seating available:
• Low-back seats, which are ideal for office and school spaces, such as a director’s office;
• High-back seats, which can function as partition walls, facilitating the creation of private spaces, with acoustic properties that reduce noise;
• Poufs, which are perfect accessories to chairs and sofas.
The collection also includes sofas and armchairs equipped with an electric socket and induction charger. Universum seating is also available on casters for mobility.
The seats are made from durable, easy-to-clean materials. Users can choose from three types of upholstery fabrics:
• Kidglove (KG) – a soft, eco-friendly polyester fabric (60% recycled), pleasant to the touch and stain-resistant. The fabric is fire-retardant and tested to BS 5852 source 0.
• Roccia (RO) – a quick-drying fabric made from 100% polyester, with a Martindale abrasion resistance of 70,000 cycles. Perfect for elegant interiors. The fabric is fire-retardant and tested to EN 1021-1:2006, EN 1021-2:2006, BS 7176:2007 (Medium Hazard), and DIN 4102-1 (B1).
• Polyurethane (MT) – an easy-to-clean, waterproof PES fabric with high grammage (550 g/m²), resembling faux leather and free of phthalates. The fabric is fire-retardant and tested to EN 1021-1:2006 and EN 1021-2:2006.
